For some context, I havent really watched that many movies, especially as a teen or adult. Ive probably watched like 3 movies in the past 5 years and most of the ones Ive watched were animated and none were above a 13+ for some cursing so Im branching out! These are in an approximate watch order with the newest at the top

Halloween (1978) - 3/10 Not scary! Kinda funny but mostly boring, again mainly watched it to be less of a pussy and it just was just eh

Ghost in the Shell (1995) - 6/10? Ok I want to like it more, it feels like it has something to say but it doesnt really seem to build on anything as much as I feel like they could (and I could be wrong!) like theres GOOD stuff here, like shit thats really intresting but a rewatch might be needed I feel like a dumbass like IM missing something

Kite (1998) - 3/10 Its a really pretty movie but its like a movie that didnt need to be made yknow, just kind of aimless(?) also not to sound like a bitch but I didnt like the real(???) images of gore :[ I know its probably there to mean something or its just cause of what the older guy does for work but it just caught me off gaurd and thats the only noteworthy thing about the movie, thought it was by the same studio as Perfect Blue but Im a dumbass

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - 9/10 More kino, iykyk and all that, love the set its like a kids show, love the alice and wonderland ass tone, love the subject matter, its all really good

Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (1988) - 5/10 An ok movie, was going to click of like a third of the way through but stuck around and kind of liked it :] its nothing revolutionary but its charming and all that, its like when a dumb joke goes from being annoying to ironiclly funny if said enough, could be a disney tv movie honestly (without the innuendos of course)

The Addams Family (1991) - 9/10 Ok I cant say this without sounding like a cunt but I hate stories that are really... preppy? whimiscal? idk I just know I like edgy but this combines the joy of the shit I dont like with edge which is so good!!! the whole "outcasts" trope is kind of over done or whatever but I like how they do it here its really relatable but not forced, so to say (Im bad with words huh?) also the sets and costumes are good :]

Perfect Blue (1997) - 9.9/10 Actual peak, was trying to watch more live action movies cause I never do but this wowed me man (didnt think itd be bad cause its animated or nothing but still :P) it could not be done irl its so good, I like a story that is like a puzzle to solve, not only in the context of the worldbuilding/lore/whatever but also just how it all fits into its message, again so good !HEADS UP if you watch it please note its a really upseting movie

Little Shop of Horrors (1986) - 8/10 Its really cute but Im so mad!!! I really like "Now" but its not in the fucking movie!!! >:( jk besides that it is a good movie, its charming seeing the strings so to say, like its clearly its on a set and idk that just adds something (is this camp?)

Chopping Mall (1986) - 5/10 Fun but was mainly watching this to be less of a pussy with horror, more goofy than scary but thats ok, I understand what people talk about now with laughing at B flim 80s horror, its charming tho I liked it! the music was really good and I like old stuff (movies, drawings, whatever) about robots and how off base they are lol :] nothing crazy to note but thats okie

1984 (1984) - 3.5/10 Boring, never read the book but thought it be kind of good since the studio also made Electric Dreams :( thats also not a good movie but its fun, sets were cool but (unless Im really dumb) the subject and message of "facism and propaganda bad" like no duh say something more intresting, !SPOILERS but once the protag was captured it was a bit more engaging

Conclave (2024) - 7/10 Liked it but it was kind of confusing for someone whos not Catholic lol, its also like the only movie on prime thats good so back to ⛵ for the other movies

12 Angry Men (1957) - 7.5/10 Pretty good for the first movie to watch, just really well made 👍
